E6: Dark Realizations

In today’s episode of Burn it Down, Don’t Reno, Dark Realizations our intrepid homeowners begin to realize the depth of the conspiracy.

If you look over the photos of the Family Room (brick walls, paneling and built in shelves) you’ll see issues with mud, masonry, and what I believe is some sort of plumbing sealant.

The sealant was on the wall before the brick wall was patched and before the drywall went up on the ceiling and before the tapping and mudding and before paint. Said another way that painters and their illusory supervisor, saw the mud on the walls, saw the sealant on the wall, saw the worst masonry work I’ve ever seen.

Meanwhile, this asshole utterly fails to understand why I don’t want to pay him. This is also the same jackass who recently told me I have a beautiful home. I’d share their unbelievably ironic motto, but that would identify them. Their regular reassurances of it’ll be okay, we can do that, trust us, 30 years in the business, etc. have been so comforting. 😳

Amazing how after 30 years in the biz they’ve mastered the art of doing a complete shite job and trying to make you believe it’s a fucking rose garden.
